She won Miss World title in 1994. Often dubbed by the media as the most beautiful woman in the world. Even most famous Hollywood star, Julia Roberts agree and once named her as the world's most beautiful woman. But after giving birth to a baby girl last year's November, Aishwarya Rai face heavy critics from fans for not losing her baby weight fast enough.

Unlike fellow celebrity mom like Victoria Beckham who fit into body-hugging dress just after weeks giving birth, the former beauty queen turn actress is seems comfortable to take a slow approach when it comes to lose the baby weight.
Many mothers feel pressure to lose their baby weight fast, moreover when they were sold bunch of stories of super slim celebrity mom who lose the baby weight straight after birth.

But for Aishwarya, she simply wanted to enjoy motherhood, hence no rush to lose the baby weight. She is not surprise when she was blasted for not losing the baby weight fast, because she knows that in the show business industry, it comes as standard when an actress becomes a mother the focus isn't on her health, it's how fast she lost her weight. Instead of losing weight fast, she choose to give top priority on her baby, Aaradhya and her family.

I personally think that Aishwarya is just keeping it real. She is an inspiration to real mothers. She set a good example to real mothers who struggle and feel the tension of losing weight fast after giving birth. It's unfair, and rediculous pressure to put mothers to lose weight quickly after giving birth at an already stressful time. Weight loss after birth takes time. New mothers need time to adjust to her new role and to care for and bond with the newly born baby.
I don't worry about this (lose weight fast after giving birth); to me, the well-being and the health of my family is more important than focusing on going back to my pre-pregnancy body in miracle time. It should not be taken to extremes.
Don't be too hard on yourself, and take time to relax and connect with your newborn (Aaradhya). At times this seems impossible but it's an essential part of juggling motherhood and a career successfully.
And no matter what you do, don't forget about yourself. I believe that when you look good, you feel good and more confident, so caring for your hair, skin and body should not stop. If anything, you should do more of that so you are refreshed and positive when you're around your child and family.

Kudos to you, Aishwarya!
This was a lovely post! I'm a mom of 4, so I know what it's like. I appreciate that even though this is a health blog, you don't have high expectations for women to always look like Victoria Beckham.
