You've heard that the cabbage soup diet can help you drop 7-10 pounds in just 7 days. On the first day you can eat all the cabbage soup and fruits that you want, but no bananas allowed.
Banana is excluding in this diet plan because they are full of
fructose (fruit sugar) like all fruits, they are also starchy vegetables, which makes
them higher than most in carbohydrates. But banana is basically a perfect healthy diet desserts at only 110 calories.
For all banana lovers, I want to share our traditional banana-based dessert. We called it 'lepat pisang' here which directly translate in English as steam banana parcel. :D

| Ingredients for 'lepat pisang' or steam banana parcels |
Ingredient:
- 700 g bananas, peeled and mashed (make sure the banana is really ripe)
- 150 g wheat flour
- 100 g grated coconut
- 100 g sugar

Method
- Run banana leaf under a direct low flame to make it soft and easier to roll. This also releases it's aroma.
- Cut banana leaf 20cm x 20cm squares.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Scoop about 3 tablespoons of the mixture and place it on top of a banana leaf square.
- Roll the parcel firmly as if you are making spring rolls.
- Arrange everything in the steamer.
- Steam for about 30-45 minutes.
